Narrative:
Manual pressurization problems spikes in pressurization during landing. Our flight attendant and 1 passenger were complaining of ear pain after landing. We called emergency medical technician at manchester and the persons involved were taken to the hospital. I believe the outflow valve should have been tied open. This would have eliminated the spikes and possibly prevent passenger discomfort. Supplemental information from acn 297324: aircraft maintenance indicated pressurization problem with MEL. Aircraft takeoff no problem/cruise on. On approach pressure flux, that caused ear problems for crew, on landing flight attendant dizzy and suffering from an ear block. 1 passenger also had problems.
