Narrative:

I was right seat passenger on takeoff and climb. The pilot then let me fly from the right seat. I climbed from 500 ft to 1000 ft AGL then descended toward the river. The pilot then asked if I wanted to do the landing on water. I said yes. He said he would do the first landing. Then at 50 ft AGL he said go ahead and land. We landed with the gear down and of course we wound up upside down, no injuries. We forgot to use checklist for takeoff and landing.
