Narrative:

I approached wdg from the south, and was told by the tower to report downwind for runway 17. I failed to report as instructed, which probably resulted in my landing without a clearance. I do not recall the tower giving me a clearance to land. The tower operator called me on the radio after landing and inquired about a landing clearance. There was no other landing traffic at that time.

Title: A SINGLE-PLT ACFT LANDED WITHOUT A LNDG CLRNC, AFTER HAVING ESTABLISHED 2-WAY RADIO COMS.

Narrative: I APCHED WDG FROM THE S, AND WAS TOLD BY THE TWR TO RPT DOWNWIND FOR RWY 17. I FAILED TO RPT AS INSTRUCTED, WHICH PROBABLY RESULTED IN MY LNDG WITHOUT A CLRNC. I DO NOT RECALL THE TWR GIVING ME A CLRNC TO LAND. THE TWR OPERATOR CALLED ME ON THE RADIO AFTER LNDG AND INQUIRED ABOUT A LNDG CLRNC. THERE WAS NO OTHER LNDG TFC AT THAT TIME.
