Narrative:

Aircraft deiced at the ramp at XA25 local. There was no precipitation at the time of deice, or at any time that we could see during taxi or takeoff. We determined our holdover time to be 15 mins which would be exceeded. The reason we took off was because we knew that during the time we were deiced, taxi and takeoff, there was no precipitation falling.

Title: AIRLINE OPERATIONAL POLICY DEICE HOLDOVER TIME.

Narrative: ACFT DEICED AT THE RAMP AT XA25 LCL. THERE WAS NO PRECIPITATION AT THE TIME OF DEICE, OR AT ANY TIME THAT WE COULD SEE DURING TAXI OR TKOF. WE DETERMINED OUR HOLDOVER TIME TO BE 15 MINS WHICH WOULD BE EXCEEDED.
