Narrative:

Cruising at FL370. Directed by center to cross 65 mi south of snowhill VOR at FL290. We were flying northbound, at about 61 mi from snowhill, center said 'I see you've missed your crossing restr, descend expeditiously to FL290.' we complied with the directions. We were given the original clearance with time/distance adequate to comply. We normally stay at altitude as long as possible to conserve fuel, but this time we forgot to descend. Center was also slow to recognize non-compliance.

Narrative: CRUISING AT FL370. DIRECTED BY CTR TO CROSS 65 MI S OF SNOWHILL VOR AT FL290.
