Narrative:

Cleared to cross vibes intersection at 13000 ft. During descent, #1 flight attendant distracted crew with passenger request and I failed to reset local altimeter passing FL180. Autoplt captured 13000 ft and leveled off. Informed by ZNY that altitude reporting indicated 600 ft low. WX was VFR and I believe there was no conflict.

Narrative: CLRED TO CROSS VIBES INTXN AT 13000 FT. DURING DSCNT, #1 FLT ATTENDANT DISTRACTED CREW WITH PAX REQUEST AND I FAILED TO RESET LCL ALTIMETER PASSING FL180. AUTOPLT CAPTURED 13000 FT AND LEVELED OFF. INFORMED BY ZNY THAT ALT RPTING INDICATED 600 FT LOW. WX WAS VFR AND I BELIEVE THERE WAS NO CONFLICT.
