Narrative:

We traded aircraft with another crew. I was not informed that the aircraft had an open discrepancy written up in logbook. I flew 3 legs (sfo to rno to sfo to rno) in said aircraft. Apparently our maintenance had looked at this aircraft and could not find any problem, but had failed to clear the write up. I checked the logbook prior to departing, but I do not notice the write up had not been cleared.
