Narrative:

At approximately 15000 ft climbing in icing conditions, south from anc, had been cleared direct to joh VOR and to FL330. Crew experienced a minor electrical malfunction. During checklist compliance with 2 man crew, the en route climb checklist was overlooked (at least the altimeter setting portion). Altimeter setting on the ground was 28.99. Leveled off at FL330. Center promptly asked our altitude and we responded FL330. The center said check your altimeter setting, we have you at 33800 ft. Crew promptly realized our omission, quickly reset and went to proper altitude, thanked the controller and continued. There was no conflict or urgency from the controller. We are standardized quite well on checklist procedures and in 30 yrs flying, this is first excursion of this type. We do not normally fly with 2 pilots, but are somewhat shorthanded and a third not available. I think the distraction of system problem approximately at transition altitude, and the fact that we didn't have our usual set of extra hands and eyes, were both factors, but not excuses. It was simply a mistake/omission that probably and hopefully will not recur. Supplemental information from acn 294799: we received a generator fault alert. We accomplished the applicable checklist items while I flew the aircraft on autoplt. The checklist cleanup was followed by an epcu fault alert (electrical power control unit).

Title: FLT CREW OF ACR OVERSHOOTS ASSIGNED ALT DUE TO FAILURE TO RESET ALTIMETERS CLBING THROUGH FL180.
