Narrative:
Following A320 on ILS, we encountered wake turbulence. Advised approach and they advised my aircraft had 5 1/2 mi in-trail on A320 and that I had been above the A320's altitude while being vectored. I advised I was reducing my airspeed to increase separation and had no further wake encounter. (Maybe 5 1/2 mi separation is not great enough following A320 aircraft.)
