Narrative:

Attempted landing in a field surrounded by trees. Descending at 200-300 FPM. There was a single line residential pwrline running through the field, it was obscured by the trees on either side of the field. When I saw it, I immediately aborted the landing attempt. I turned on the burner to climb out of the field. As I was climbing out, the burner support frame hit the top line. It dragged down the frame and across the basket. At no time did any part of the aircraft contact the ground or second wire. There was no damage sustained to the aircraft. There were no injuries to either pilot or passenger. The flight was concluded without further incident.
