Narrative:

The autoplt was engaged and aircraft configured for flaps 5. During flap extension, the leading edge flap transit light illuminated and the green extend light did not illuminate, however, there was no aircraft roll noticed. The overhead annunciator panel indicated #2 slat had not deployed. I requested holding or vectors with terrain clearance while the first officer reviewed the abnormal checklist. We then encountered moderate turbulence and a stall warning. I immediately advanced the power and stall warning ceased. We then noticed the leading edge amber transit light extinguished and overhead leading edge panel indicated all slats extended. We verified this as being normal with our maintenance control personnel, and continued approach and landing with no further incident. Due to week load, we had not yet notified the passenger of the situation. Upon landing we had a short taxi to the gate and emergency trucks followed us, which disturbed the passenger, as they didn't know what the reason for emergency equipment was. In retrospect, I should have made a PA at some point, otherwise we can panic our passenger. The next morning maintenance informed us the leading edge switch was out of adjustment and the computer thought the slat had not deployed, which resulted in a false stall warning.

Title: FLC OF AN MLG EXPERIENCED A PROB IN EXTENDING THE LEADING EDGE FLAP DURING APCH.

Narrative: THE AUTOPLT WAS ENGAGED AND ACFT CONFIGURED FOR FLAPS 5. DURING FLAP EXTENSION, THE LEADING EDGE FLAP TRANSIT LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND THE GREEN EXTEND LIGHT DID NOT ILLUMINATE, HOWEVER, THERE WAS NO ACFT ROLL NOTICED. THE OVERHEAD ANNUNCIATOR PANEL INDICATED #2 SLAT HAD NOT DEPLOYED. I REQUESTED HOLDING OR VECTORS WITH TERRAIN CLRNC WHILE THE FO REVIEWED THE ABNORMAL CHKLIST. WE THEN ENCOUNTERED MODERATE TURB AND A STALL WARNING. I IMMEDIATELY ADVANCED THE PWR AND STALL WARNING CEASED. WE THEN NOTICED THE LEADING EDGE AMBER TRANSIT LIGHT EXTINGUISHED AND OVERHEAD LEADING EDGE PANEL INDICATED ALL SLATS EXTENDED. WE VERIFIED THIS AS BEING NORMAL WITH OUR MAINT CTL PERSONNEL, AND CONTINUED APCH AND LNDG WITH NO FURTHER INCIDENT. DUE TO WK LOAD, WE HAD NOT YET NOTIFIED THE PAX OF THE SIT. UPON LNDG WE HAD A SHORT TAXI TO THE GATE AND EMER TRUCKS FOLLOWED US, WHICH DISTURBED THE PAX, AS THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THE REASON FOR EMER EQUIP WAS. IN RETROSPECT, I SHOULD HAVE MADE A PA AT SOME POINT, OTHERWISE WE CAN PANIC OUR PAX. THE NEXT MORNING MAINT INFORMED US THE LEADING EDGE SWITCH WAS OUT OF ADJUSTMENT AND THE COMPUTER THOUGHT THE SLAT HAD NOT DEPLOYED, WHICH RESULTED IN A FALSE STALL WARNING.
