Narrative:

The nose gear steering pin fell out on rollout at billings. Aircraft disabled on runway. Found pin at touchdown point by ground crew. Towed to the gate. The pin wasn't put in correctly after pushback in minneapolis. I think the pin should be put in by mechanics instead of baggage handlers. Crew coordination during event was excellent.

Narrative: THE NOSE GEAR STEERING PIN FELL OUT ON ROLLOUT AT BILLINGS. ACFT DISABLED ON RWY. FOUND PIN AT TOUCHDOWN POINT BY GND CREW. TOWED TO THE GATE. THE PIN WASN'T PUT IN CORRECTLY AFTER PUSHBACK IN MINNEAPOLIS. I THINK THE PIN SHOULD BE PUT IN BY MECHS INSTEAD OF BAGGAGE HANDLERS. CREW COORD DURING EVENT WAS EXCELLENT.
