Narrative:

Right after rotation on takeoff a small flock of ducks or mallards got into the aircraft flight path. A bird strike occurred and some birds remains were ingested into the right (#3) engine causing a power loss on that pwrplant. Fuel dumping was coordinated with ATC. After bringing the aircraft to its landing weight. And ILS approach to runway 21R in dtw was executed. Normal approach and landing. No injuries resulted from such an incident.

Title: BIRD (DUCK) STRIKE RIGHT AFTER TKOF CAUSED PWR LOSS TO 1 ENG. RETURN TO ARPT AFTER MAKING FUEL DUMP TO GET DOWN TO LNDG WT.

Narrative: RIGHT AFTER ROTATION ON TKOF A SMALL FLOCK OF DUCKS OR MALLARDS GOT INTO THE ACFT FLT PATH. A BIRD STRIKE OCCURRED AND SOME BIRDS REMAINS WERE INGESTED INTO THE R (#3) ENG CAUSING A PWR LOSS ON THAT PWRPLANT. FUEL DUMPING WAS COORDINATED WITH ATC. AFTER BRINGING THE ACFT TO ITS LNDG WT. AND ILS APCH TO RWY 21R IN DTW WAS EXECUTED. NORMAL APCH AND LNDG. NO INJURIES RESULTED FROM SUCH AN INCIDENT.
