After starting the right engine and completing all appropriate checklists, we began a taxi from the gate. The power used was normal. Taxi out was normal. I was informed later in the day the jetway in bdl had been damaged. Supplemental information from acn 286308: single engine taxi, due to XX14 min ATC delay. Wet taxiway. Fairly close to aircraft on next gate. Control lock on, restrs power to 80 percent. Was notified 3-4 hours later that jetway was damaged due to jet blast.
