Narrative:
Landing on grass strip, the weeds were not cut on right side. My lower wing and spade got into them bending the spade. I took off immediately flew to largest airport to land a damaged aircraft. Landed fine but due to an airshow that just ended the fed's were there and made a big thing out of nothing. They say I may be in trouble. I learned don't land a pitts S2B in tall grass. The only reason I was landing there was to get more spin training with an instructor. Otherwise, I would never land at an airport in that condition.
