Narrative:
On oct/xx/94, I was flying with a passenger in a cessna 150 sightseeing over cedar lake which is 18 mi south of mdh. I was flying at a fairly low unknown altitude over water when I encountered unmarked pwrlines stretching across the lake. The pwrlines were between 100-200 ft above the water. Upon encountering the wires, I took evasive actions which included pulling up and missing the first set of wires, but not missing the second set which were a higher set. If the pwrlines had been marked, then I could have perceived the wires sooner and possibly missed them. Had I pushed down on the yoke, instead of pulling up, I could have possibly missed the wires. This situation could have been prevented had I known the wires were in this area and had the wires been marked.

IF THE PWRLINES HAD BEEN MARKED, THEN I COULD HAVE PERCEIVED THE WIRES SOONER AND POSSIBLY MISSED THEM. HAD I PUSHED DOWN ON THE YOKE, INSTEAD OF PULLING UP, I COULD HAVE POSSIBLY MISSED THE WIRES. THIS SIT COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED HAD I KNOWN THE WIRES WERE IN THIS AREA AND HAD THE WIRES BEEN MARKED.
