Narrative:

Atx Y, a bandeirante turbo propeller, asked for an airport advisory 8 mi out from the north. The fueler at FBO stated 'runway 23 in use, glider operations in progress.' he then called on 122.8 (the unicom frequency) his intentions of landing on runway 23. My aircraft, a C-150 (X) announced downwind for runway 29 which light transport Y stated he did not hear. Light transport Y apparently made a left base with a 3 mi final for runway 29. As I turned final I did not see him approach higher and faster from the right. Light transport Y altered course to right and made a go around. Turning into sun might have been a factor. Both aircraft announced position and were monitoring unicom frequency.
