Narrative:

On pwrback guideman did not signal aircraft to move forward in time to prevent left main mount from going off taxiway. Neither wing walkers had noticed that the aircraft was off the taxiway. Air crew was unaware of position of wheel until power was applied and no forward movement was noticed. Guidemen were totally incompetent in their situational awareness. Supplemental information from acn 273207: wing walkers were used and did not signal guideman of proximity of the edge of pavement. No damage. Aircraft brought back onto pavement under own power. Inspected and released for flight.
