Narrative:

I was operating flight from rdu to cvg as PIC during our turn around time in rdu, I performed a walk around, postflt/preflight inspection of the emb 120. The aircraft was airworthy with no visible discrepancies. We taxied, took off, climbed and cruised. Everything was normal until the flight attendant called the flight deck during cruise. She informed me that some inspection panels were missing from both nacelles. She thought it looked abnormal, and added that none of the passenger had noticed. I hadn't noticed any performance or control problems with aircraft. The rest of the flight was uneventful and, during postflt inspection, I saw the inspection panels inboard, aft on both nacelles missing. I believe the air carrier maintenance had failed to secure the panels soundly resulting in their departure at some time during our flight.
