Narrative:

I was the captain on flight from jfk to lhr on jun/xx/94. We landed at lhr on jun/sun/94. On jun/tue/94 I got a call from captain. He stated that london approach alleged that we leveled off at FL100 instead of FL110 on descent on the morning of arrival. To my knowledge the entire flight went extremely smooth. Since it has been a few days since the flight, I do not recall any of the altitudes involved, and to be sure, nothing on descent or approach occurred that seemed in any way unusual. Certainly not a word was mentioned to us and no sense or urgency by ATC that would cause us to suspect in any way that anything other than a normal operation, including all readbacks and procedures, was taking place. I had no knowledge of any problem until the phone call. Absolutely nothing was mentioned at the time of the alleged problem. We of course were using the altitude readback -- point -- other pilot verify technique. I have been praised by at least 3 FAA inspectors during the past yr for my cockpit procedures. I called the as soon as possible hotline on jun/xx/94. Also a NASA report.

Title: ALT BUST, THE OLD 'WAS THAT 10 OR 11 THOUSAND?'

Narrative: I WAS THE CAPT ON FLT FROM JFK TO LHR ON JUN/XX/94. WE LANDED AT LHR ON JUN/SUN/94. ON JUN/TUE/94 I GOT A CALL FROM CAPT. HE STATED THAT LONDON APCH ALLEGED THAT WE LEVELED OFF AT FL100 INSTEAD OF FL110 ON DSCNT ON THE MORNING OF ARR. TO MY KNOWLEDGE THE ENTIRE FLT WENT EXTREMELY SMOOTH. SINCE IT HAS BEEN A FEW DAYS SINCE THE FLT, I DO NOT RECALL ANY OF THE ALTS INVOLVED, AND TO BE SURE, NOTHING ON DSCNT OR APCH OCCURRED THAT SEEMED IN ANY WAY UNUSUAL. CERTAINLY NOT A WORD WAS MENTIONED TO US AND NO SENSE OR URGENCY BY ATC THAT WOULD CAUSE US TO SUSPECT IN ANY WAY THAT ANYTHING OTHER THAN A NORMAL OP, INCLUDING ALL READBACKS AND PROCS, WAS TAKING PLACE. I HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF ANY PROB UNTIL THE PHONE CALL. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WAS MENTIONED AT THE TIME OF THE ALLEGED PROB. WE OF COURSE WERE USING THE ALT READBACK -- POINT -- OTHER PLT VERIFY TECHNIQUE. I HAVE BEEN PRAISED BY AT LEAST 3 FAA INSPECTORS DURING THE PAST YR FOR MY COCKPIT PROCS. I CALLED THE ASAP HOTLINE ON JUN/XX/94. ALSO A NASA RPT.
