Narrative:

Aircraft had auxiliary tank inoperative with 2000 pounds of trapped fuel which constituted a possible redispatch on trip from oslo to nyc. After departure from oslo, ECAM gave an erroneous warning of trim tank unusable fuel -- but, to be safe, made fuel stop at goose bay. Company considered the stop as a maintenance stop. There were no warnings after landing and no entry made in maintenance log. Did have mechanic service agent pull drip sticks on trim tank. Tank empty. Proceeded to nyc with no further problems.
