Narrative:

Departed rdu for phl. Cruising at FL270 the #1 hydraulic system quantity dropped to '0,' followed by a hydraulic system low quantity indication on the mdfu. Followed appropriate checklist. Declared an emergency and continued on to phl. Assumed control of the aircraft from the first officer. Used alternate gear extension checklist to lower gear and alternate flap extension to lower the flaps. Made a flaps 25 landing on runway 27L and stopped aircraft on the runway. Landing was normal. Shutdown engines and was towed to the gate. No injuries to crew or passenger (66).

Title: FLC OF AN FK-100 MLG ACFT DECLARED AN EMER DUE TO THE LOSS OF THE ACFT HYD SYS DURING CRUISE. THE ACFT CONTINUED TO DEST AND LANDED SUCCESSFULLY. THE ACFT WAS TOWED TO THE GATE FOR DEPLANING.
