Narrative:

On mar/tue/94 an overnight aircraft had a gripe. The frequency on #2 generator was out of limits. I replaced and secured #2 generator control unit. An operations check was done. Started both engines. The frequency on engine #2 was still out of limits. Then turned over to the airframe and pwrplant mechanic. Changed out the generator and the CSD. An operations check was done and the job signed off as ok. When I replaced the generator control box, I racked it in by hand to align the pins and socket and secure the box by locking the latch. Nothing out of the ordinary was noticed by me. Confident of a job done, I left the aircraft and signed off my work.
