Narrative:

Approaching NDB locator for runway 26L, cleared for visual to runway 26R, had been given, sighted and acknowledged traffic ahead to follow, one for runway 26L, one for runway 26R. Reducing speed from 170 KTS assigned to 140 KT target, lowering gear and flaps. Strong surface wind, 300/15 plus 25, dust plumes on ground, short final for runway 26L. TCASII in TA to prevent nuisance alerts from parallel approachs. First officer flying, utters 2 word phrase, points out commuter (stretch beech?) going by approximately 200 ft above and 300 ft to our right, approximately 20 KTS faster, parallel approach to runway 25. Closest point of approach already past, separation increasing, so continued approach and landed. Runway 25 traffic never given to us and if it had been we would not have expected to see him as he should have stayed behind us in order to maintain visual on us. Triple parallel visuals to closely spaced runways is a bad operation in any case but with wind shear approaching go around criteria and the resultant potential for no warning missed approach it should be called off. The new denver airport cannot open too soon for me.

Title: NMAC BTWN 2 ACR ACFT ON APCH TO MULTI PARALLEL RWYS.

Narrative: APCHING NDB LOCATOR FOR RWY 26L, CLRED FOR VISUAL TO RWY 26R, HAD BEEN GIVEN, SIGHTED AND ACKNOWLEDGED TFC AHEAD TO FOLLOW, ONE FOR RWY 26L, ONE FOR RWY 26R. REDUCING SPD FROM 170 KTS ASSIGNED TO 140 KT TARGET, LOWERING GEAR AND FLAPS. STRONG SURFACE WIND, 300/15 PLUS 25, DUST PLUMES ON GND, SHORT FINAL FOR RWY 26L. TCASII IN TA TO PREVENT NUISANCE ALERTS FROM PARALLEL APCHS. FO FLYING, UTTERS 2 WORD PHRASE, POINTS OUT COMMUTER (STRETCH BEECH?) GOING BY APPROX 200 FT ABOVE AND 300 FT TO OUR R, APPROX 20 KTS FASTER, PARALLEL APCH TO RWY 25. CLOSEST POINT OF APCH ALREADY PAST, SEPARATION INCREASING, SO CONTINUED APCH AND LANDED. RWY 25 TFC NEVER GIVEN TO US AND IF IT HAD BEEN WE WOULD NOT HAVE EXPECTED TO SEE HIM AS HE SHOULD HAVE STAYED BEHIND US IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN VISUAL ON US. TRIPLE PARALLEL VISUALS TO CLOSELY SPACED RWYS IS A BAD OP IN ANY CASE BUT WITH WIND SHEAR APCHING GAR CRITERIA AND THE RESULTANT POTENTIAL FOR NO WARNING MISSED APCH IT SHOULD BE CALLED OFF. THE NEW DENVER ARPT CANNOT OPEN TOO SOON FOR ME.
