Narrative:

While at FL290 and IMC we got a TA at 1800 ft below us and decreasing separation. Next we got an RA to climb. We climbed to FL301 then descended back to FL290 when we got a clear of traffic message. We notified center and they said we should be on a different frequency. We made the switch and they said they had been trying to call us about a learjet at FL280. Center said everything was ok. Minimum separation noticed to be 100 ft.
