Narrative:
Bird strike (left wing leading edge). No spar damage. Many vultures in the air at the time. I avoided 2 of them but did not see the bird I hit. The strike occurred 5 mi southwest of the merrit island (coi) airport. I had just completed a series of training maneuvers and was on the way back to the airport. The damage did not affect the control of the aircraft. I proceeded to the airport, coi, where the aircraft is based and made a normal landing.
