Narrative:
Oil pressure on #2 engine suddenly dropped to '0.' low pressure light also illuminated. The engine was retarded to idle and a descent requested. After consulting, the engine was shut down and altitude was FL240 to stabilize airspeed at 290 KTS. A 2-ENG approach and landing was made in VFR condition at den.

Title: LGT HAS OIL PRESSURE DROP TO '0.' ENG RETARDED THEN SHUT DOWN.
Narrative: OIL PRESSURE ON #2 ENG SUDDENLY DROPPED TO '0.' LOW PRESSURE LIGHT ALSO ILLUMINATED. THE ENG WAS RETARDED TO IDLE AND A DSCNT REQUESTED. AFTER CONSULTING, THE ENG WAS SHUT DOWN AND ALT WAS FL240 TO STABILIZE AIRSPD AT 290 KTS. A 2-ENG APCH AND LNDG WAS MADE IN VFR CONDITION AT DEN.
