Narrative:

Traffic northbound on J75, FL290. Traffic eastbound air carrier Y FL290. Air carrier X sbound J75 FL280. After passing northbound traffic at FL290, I climbed air carrier X to FL310. By the time I realized air carrier X would not sufficiently pass behind air carrier Y, I issued turns to both aircraft, but it was too late to avoid loss of separation. Simple human error.
