Narrative:
Training flight sat-vct-sat prior to return to san antonio, WX briefing was obtained. Forecast was VFR. Departed vct, climbed to cruise (4500 ft) in VFR. I noticed visibility dropping rapidly. I called ZHU for assistance. They provided vectors back to vct. I descended to 2000 ft, at which time I was 15 NM northwest of vct and obtained visual contact with vct airport.
