Narrative:
On takeoff from sna, the left engine did not quite reach takeoff power. Maximum power called for something like 1.74 EPR. With throttle full forward, left engine developed 1.71. I felt confident engine was producing more than enough power for a safe departure. Engine responded normally during takeoff, climb out, and cruise.
