Narrative:

Our company started service to fnl which is very close. They filed the altitude at 9000 which is 1000 ft below the assigned altitude used on the den 1 departure. After 15 yrs of always climbing to 10000, I didn't notice pre departure clearance read den 1 departure maintain 9000 ft. This is different than every departure out of den!
