Narrative:

Military fgt's practicing air show at nax. Airspace is 5 NM from runway center to 16000 ft. Hnl is arriving on runway 4R (ILS) with all aircraft. Air carrier's were on converging courses (communicating with hnl TRACON or ATCT). The military fgt's were on nax ATCT or gca frequencys performing high speed maneuvers. The arriving hnl aircraft were missed by the blue angel aircraft, all within 1 - 1 1/4 mi and less than 1000 ft. The approach controller and tower controllers were barely able to issue TA's to the arrival aircraft due to the high speeds and unknown maneuvers which were being performed. Due to the VFR of hawaii, traffic was observed by the arrival aircraft but by then it was too late, you couldn't miss them. Hnl airport should have been closed during the air show with the overlapping airspace. Hopefully this will be the last poor planning and mismgmnt of airspace.

Title: AIR SHOW FGT'S HAVE CONFLICT WITH ACR ACFT IN TCA. SEE AND AVOID CONCEPT.

Narrative: MIL FGT'S PRACTICING AIR SHOW AT NAX. AIRSPACE IS 5 NM FROM RWY CTR TO 16000 FT. HNL IS ARRIVING ON RWY 4R (ILS) WITH ALL ACFT. ACR'S WERE ON CONVERGING COURSES (COMMUNICATING WITH HNL TRACON OR ATCT). THE MIL FGT'S WERE ON NAX ATCT OR GCA FREQS PERFORMING HIGH SPD MANEUVERS. THE ARRIVING HNL ACFT WERE MISSED BY THE BLUE ANGEL ACFT, ALL WITHIN 1 - 1 1/4 MI AND LESS THAN 1000 FT. THE APCH CTLR AND TWR CTLRS WERE BARELY ABLE TO ISSUE TA'S TO THE ARR ACFT DUE TO THE HIGH SPDS AND UNKNOWN MANEUVERS WHICH WERE BEING PERFORMED. DUE TO THE VFR OF HAWAII, TFC WAS OBSERVED BY THE ARR ACFT BUT BY THEN IT WAS TOO LATE, YOU COULDN'T MISS THEM. HNL ARPT SHOULD HAVE BEEN CLOSED DURING THE AIR SHOW WITH THE OVERLAPPING AIRSPACE. HOPEFULLY THIS WILL BE THE LAST POOR PLANNING AND MISMGMNT OF AIRSPACE.
