Narrative:

Prior to starting the takeoff roll we advanced the power levers and got a takeoff warning horn. We taxied clear to determine the reason. Pitch trim and the edge of the takeoff range was found to be the problem. Also at this time we were unable to hear the tower's xmissions assumedly due to poor tower antenna location. More time taken prior to takeoff to center trim well within takeoff range and relocation of tower antenna would help.
