Narrative:

I was at the arrival south position and had just decombined the position and de-centered the scope. I noticed that air carrier X, an medium large transport, was displayed on arrival north's radar scope, but not on arrival south's. I observed a primary and beacon, not a data tag. I had to center and de-center the scope to get a tag. This should be fixed to prevent a system error or worse. This same situation occurred earlier in the day.
