Narrative:

I landed at a closed airport. I called unicom from 10 mi out, and again downwind, base, and final. There was a new extension to runway and beyond that, fresh dirt. The X was on the dirt. No one answered the unicom, so I landed. The field was closed for radio controled and model planes. The people were on the extreme south end of runway. I stopped 1000 ft short of where the people were and there was never any danger to anyone. The man in control allowed me to takeoff. Again, no danger to anyone.
