Narrative:

Shortly after gear retraction and basically on runway heading, my aircraft received a TCASII generated RA. Our TCASII instructed us to maintain a vertical speed of 2000-3000 FPM. We immediately cleared the airspace around us and complied with the RA. After the RA passed we returned to normal climb parameters. We advised ATC (departure control) of the RA. While we never actually saw the traffic the depiction on the TCASII showed we passed within 100 ft vertically and perhaps less than 1000 ft horizontally. I consider this well within a near miss criteria. ATC later informed us the other aircraft was an light transport on a 280 degree assigned heading and departing metropolitan airport as well. Before, during and after our takeoff ATC never informed us of the traffic or possible conflict.

Title: FLC OF AN MLG ACR ACFT TOOK EVASIVE ACTION IN RESPONSE TO A TCASII RA BY INCREASING THE RATE OF CLB JUST AFTER LIFTOFF FROM A MULTIPLE PARALLEL RWYS ARPT.

Narrative: SHORTLY AFTER GEAR RETRACTION AND BASICALLY ON RWY HDG, MY ACFT RECEIVED A TCASII GENERATED RA. OUR TCASII INSTRUCTED US TO MAINTAIN A VERT SPD OF 2000-3000 FPM. WE IMMEDIATELY CLRED THE AIRSPACE AROUND US AND COMPLIED WITH THE RA. AFTER THE RA PASSED WE RETURNED TO NORMAL CLB PARAMETERS. WE ADVISED ATC (DEP CTL) OF THE RA. WHILE WE NEVER ACTUALLY SAW THE TFC THE DEPICTION ON THE TCASII SHOWED WE PASSED WITHIN 100 FT VERTICALLY AND PERHAPS LESS THAN 1000 FT HORIZLY. I CONSIDER THIS WELL WITHIN A NEAR MISS CRITERIA. ATC LATER INFORMED US THE OTHER ACFT WAS AN LTT ON A 280 DEG ASSIGNED HDG AND DEPARTING METRO ARPT AS WELL. BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER OUR TKOF ATC NEVER INFORMED US OF THE TFC OR POSSIBLE CONFLICT.
