Narrative:

Right main gear would not retract after takeoff. Departure airport was below landing minimums but above takeoff minimums. I had the first officer recycle the gear several times unsuccessfully, so I made a decision to divert to the takeoff alternate. I did not declare an emergency since the gear down locked normally each time. I landed at the takeoff alternate without incident.

Title: FLC OF AN LTT ACR ACFT DIVERTED TO AN ALTERNATE ARPT AFTER EXPERIENCING A GEAR RETRACTION PROB AFTER TKOF.

Narrative: R MAIN GEAR WOULD NOT RETRACT AFTER TKOF. DEP ARPT WAS BELOW LNDG MINIMUMS BUT ABOVE TKOF MINIMUMS. I HAD THE FO RECYCLE THE GEAR SEVERAL TIMES UNSUCCESSFULLY, SO I MADE A DECISION TO DIVERT TO THE TKOF ALTERNATE. I DID NOT DECLARE AN EMER SINCE THE GEAR DOWN LOCKED NORMALLY EACH TIME. I LANDED AT THE TKOF ALTERNATE WITHOUT INCIDENT.
