Narrative:

After radioing in a company flight plan and going through preflight and prestart checklist, I started engine and started taxi on company apron while waiting to get through to ground control. I taxied approximately 15 yards where a company fuel truck was parked fueling another company aircraft. Instead of crossing the lot (company policy prohibits crossing 'the lot' -- other company's apron space), I tried to squeeze between a parked aircraft and our fuel truck. Thinking that I was clear of the trucks, I was watching the other aircraft on my left and then struck the fuel truck on my right, making contact with the outer 1-2 inches of the wingtip with the mirror of the truck. I was fired!
