Narrative:

Leaving the terminal/gate area to return the aircraft to the company hangar after a scheduled (135 far) flight, a thunderstorm hit the field. We waited in the gate area with the plane headed into the prevailing wind till the wind gusts subsided. When the gusts were reported as less than 35 KTS, we proceeded to move the aircraft to the hangar. In the process, a second wave hit the field. We saw it coming and attempted to turn the plane to face the wind, but the gust front hit just as the plane was in the turn and caught the right wing tilting the plane such that the left wing struck the ground. We immediately shut down the engines, called ground control to alert them of the incident and pwred down the aircraft. This has been called a microburst by the national WX service.

Title: ACFT DAMAGED DUE TO SURFACE WIND CONDITIONS ASSOCIATED WITH TSTM ACTIVITY.

Narrative: LEAVING THE TERMINAL/GATE AREA TO RETURN THE ACFT TO THE COMPANY HANGAR AFTER A SCHEDULED (135 FAR) FLT, A TSTM HIT THE FIELD. WE WAITED IN THE GATE AREA WITH THE PLANE HEADED INTO THE PREVAILING WIND TILL THE WIND GUSTS SUBSIDED. WHEN THE GUSTS WERE RPTED AS LESS THAN 35 KTS, WE PROCEEDED TO MOVE THE ACFT TO THE HANGAR. IN THE PROCESS, A SECOND WAVE HIT THE FIELD. WE SAW IT COMING AND ATTEMPTED TO TURN THE PLANE TO FACE THE WIND, BUT THE GUST FRONT HIT JUST AS THE PLANE WAS IN THE TURN AND CAUGHT THE R WING TILTING THE PLANE SUCH THAT THE L WING STRUCK THE GND. WE IMMEDIATELY SHUT DOWN THE ENGS, CALLED GND CTL TO ALERT THEM OF THE INCIDENT AND PWRED DOWN THE ACFT. THIS HAS BEEN CALLED A MICROBURST BY THE NATIONAL WX SVC.
