Air carrier X was inbound on the bonvl arrival leveling at 10000 ft. Medium large transport was on departure level at 9000 ft. Both aircraft crossed flight paths approximately 2 mi apart with 1000 ft vertical separation. Air carrier X climbed to 10700 ft with no warning. It turned out that air carrier X was TCASII equipped and received a false TCASII warning.
