Narrative:

Captain and myself ferried an large transport from bos to clt because of N2 damage in the engine. We had a ferry permit and we did an extensive engine runup with maintenance. The engine performed within limitations and we flew it to clt with no problem. I feel as a pilot I need more information about ferrying aircraft with engine damage in our aircraft manual or company policy manuals.
