Narrative:

We believe our company has forced us to violate far 121.505(B) under supplemental air carrier rules. 'No pilot of an airplane that has a crew of 2 pilots may be on duty for more than 16 hours during any 24 consecutive hours.' we were on duty at XN00 EDT on fri and 'off' duty at XV00 EDT on fri. We were then required to 'show' at XF00 EDT on sat after flying 3 1/2 hours on fri. We are currently on duty at XF00 EDT on sun after flying 5.5 hours. We are now scheduled to fly from ewr to mdw with an ETA in mdw at XP30 EDT. We interpret 121.505(B) to put us in violation of this regulation. The company (based in dfw) believes that we are legal to fly this leg.
