Narrative:

I was flying from ixd to miami county airport. Upon reaching miami county airport I established a left pattern for 20 runway by crossing midfield and entering a left downwind leg. Due to my lack of recent flying experience, and a preoccupation with being on time to meet friends for breakfast, I forgot to extend the landing gear. I realized that my airspeed seemed fast on final but proceeded to the runway. Upon striking the runway, I assumed that the belly of the plane was all that had made contact and applied full power to go around. I re-entered a left pattern, extended the landing gear and landed safely. On the ground, I then realized that the propeller had struck the runway and the tips were bent 3-4 inches. Also, 2 antennas on the belly were damaged. There was no other damage and there were no injuries.

Title: PVT PLT OF SMA SINGLE ENG LAND ACFT INADVERTENTLY LANDED GEAR-UP.

Narrative: I WAS FLYING FROM IXD TO MIAMI COUNTY ARPT. UPON REACHING MIAMI COUNTY ARPT I ESTABLISHED A L PATTERN FOR 20 RWY BY XING MIDFIELD AND ENTERING A L DOWNWIND LEG. DUE TO MY LACK OF RECENT FLYING EXPERIENCE, AND A PREOCCUPATION WITH BEING ON TIME TO MEET FRIENDS FOR BREAKFAST, I FORGOT TO EXTEND THE LNDG GEAR. I REALIZED THAT MY AIRSPD SEEMED FAST ON FINAL BUT PROCEEDED TO THE RWY. UPON STRIKING THE RWY, I ASSUMED THAT THE BELLY OF THE PLANE WAS ALL THAT HAD MADE CONTACT AND APPLIED FULL PWR TO GAR. I RE-ENTERED A L PATTERN, EXTENDED THE LNDG GEAR AND LANDED SAFELY. ON THE GND, I THEN REALIZED THAT THE PROP HAD STRUCK THE RWY AND THE TIPS WERE BENT 3-4 INCHES. ALSO, 2 ANTENNAS ON THE BELLY WERE DAMAGED. THERE WAS NO OTHER DAMAGE AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES.
