Narrative:

My girlfriend and I went up for a pleasure flight. When we passed over the mississippi state university campus, we noticed a game was in progress at the stadium. My intention was to maintain 1500 MSL. We made several passes over the stadium and left the vicinity. We returned for 1 more pass. As I approached the stadium I noticed that I was not maintaining 1500 MSL, and was flying at about 1000 MSL. In light of the present condition (which I do not condone), I made the decision to maintain positive control of my aircraft without taking any sudden action which could have led to a situation of imminent danger. I do regret not maintaining proper altitude, and I would like to take this opportunity to state that I did not act with harmful intent. I now intend to cooperate fully with all authorities and perform whatever needs to be done to restore any lost confidence in my ability to maintain the standard of safety applicable to all pilots.
