Narrative:

I was performing a soft field takeoff from runway 11 at flagler. While I was accelerating in ground effect I noticed approximately 5 parachute jumpers descending onto the departure end of runway 11L. I did not have enough runway left to safely abort the takeoff. The evasive action I took was to turn right approximately 60 degrees to a southerly heading and climb out away from the jumpers. By doing this I crossed runway 6 perpendicular to it at about 200 ft. I announced my position and intentions twice after I noticed the jumpers. The only way that I can see to avoid this problem again is to have the parachuters land on the field away from the active. Also it would be helpful if the jump plane announced the landing zone for the jumpers, instead of just calling 'jumpers away.'

Title: SMA PLT ENCOUNTERS JUMPERS LNDG ON END OF RWY JUST AFTER TKOF. EVASIVE ACTION.

Narrative: I WAS PERFORMING A SOFT FIELD TKOF FROM RWY 11 AT FLAGLER. WHILE I WAS ACCELERATING IN GND EFFECT I NOTICED APPROX 5 PARACHUTE JUMPERS DSNDING ONTO THE DEP END OF RWY 11L. I DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH RWY LEFT TO SAFELY ABORT THE TKOF. THE EVASIVE ACTION I TOOK WAS TO TURN R APPROX 60 DEGS TO A SOUTHERLY HDG AND CLB OUT AWAY FROM THE JUMPERS. BY DOING THIS I CROSSED RWY 6 PERPENDICULAR TO IT AT ABOUT 200 FT. I ANNOUNCED MY POS AND INTENTIONS TWICE AFTER I NOTICED THE JUMPERS. THE ONLY WAY THAT I CAN SEE TO AVOID THIS PROB AGAIN IS TO HAVE THE PARACHUTERS LAND ON THE FIELD AWAY FROM THE ACTIVE. ALSO IT WOULD BE HELPFUL IF THE JUMP PLANE ANNOUNCED THE LNDG ZONE FOR THE JUMPERS, INSTEAD OF JUST CALLING 'JUMPERS AWAY.'
