Narrative:

I was the so, flight from iah to lgw. On final approach in london, lgw, the initial localizer capture was normal along with the GS until the aircraft started descending on the GS. Then the localizer became erratic and the GS was normal. Tower advised us we were right of centerline. The first officer disconnected both autoplts in attempt to center the localizer and was unable and we made a missed approach. A second approach was made after checking for good signals from our navaids. This approach was made using autoplt a only. The results were the same, the aircraft flew right of centerline on descent and tower gave us a heading, but unable to continue approach and made a missed approach. A third approach was made by the captain manually to a safe landing without using the autoplt at all.
