Narrative:
I recently flew to the bisbee-douglas international airport. On approach to runway 35/17 the surface condition looked excellent. On landing, I discovered loose rocks throughout the entire runway. I was informed that the runway had been resurfaced sometime in 1992. I performed a visual inspection of the runway and was shocked. The resurface material is 3/8 inch rock and is breaking loose causing an extremely hazardous FOD condition. I have never seen this type of material used on a runway surface before. I am very concerned for the safety of flcs and aircraft. Tires, propellers, engines and other components can be damaged by this condition causing loss of aircraft and air crews. I urge you to investigate this hazard so conditions can be improved and corrected. NOTAMS and flight information about conditions of runways 35/17 should be updated to reflect the current condition of the facility. Flcs are unaware of the runway condition because from the air the runway looks excellent. I recommend every effort be made to correct this hazardous condition. I appreciate your support and efforts in correcting this problem and increasing flight safety.

Title: COMPLAINT REF RWY SURFACE OF ROCK BREAKING LOOSE CREATING HAZARD TO ACFT.
Narrative: I RECENTLY FLEW TO THE BISBEE-DOUGLAS INTL ARPT. ON APCH TO RWY 35/17 THE SURFACE CONDITION LOOKED EXCELLENT. ON LNDG, I DISCOVERED LOOSE ROCKS THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE RWY. I WAS INFORMED THAT THE RWY HAD BEEN RESURFACED SOMETIME IN 1992. I PERFORMED A VISUAL INSPECTION OF THE RWY AND WAS SHOCKED.
