Narrative:

I was informed by my chief pilot that he received a report by mr. X stating he was completing a field check of flint bishop field and announced on frequency 126.3 he was crossing runways 9/27 to taxiway H at AM30L. As he exited the runway on H, he heard the roar of a jet and observed it bearing down on him. He also said he heard the tower trying 2 or 3 times to contact the jet. The tower asked the crew to call him when they reached the cargo ramp. Mr. X was told by mr. Y to call the tower. The tower then told mr. X that the pilot apologized for what had happened and that was about all the conversation mr. X had with the tower personnel. All I can say is that I am at a loss in regards to mr. X's report. At no time did I or my copilot hear anyone crossing runway 9/27 on the radio. When we landed we saw no vehicle on the runway or exiting the runway at taxiway H. We had no contact with the tower because the tower was closed at the time of our arrival, nor did I apologize to the tower for anything. The only contact we had with the tower was when we taxied out for departure and to receive a clearance to grand rapids airport. I must say that I question the report submitted and recall nothing mr. X stated. I and my crew conducted operation within the guidelines of ATC and far rules. We also reported crossing the final approach fix on 126.3. No tower contact was made until taxi for departure and no vehicle was seen on or exiting the runway upon our arrival.
