Air carrier X departed runway 18R at tampa. ARTS data block acquired normally. Put into handoff status. Center took the handoff. ARTS data block changed to 'C' track. As aircraft was making right turn northbound, 12 mi southwest of tampa, data block went into 'CST.' target then went northbound and data block went wbound. Data block then went into 'coast list.' data block reacquired on target 10 mi west of tampa.
