Narrative:

Air carrier X departed day eastbound climbing to FL230. Air carrier X was cleared to FL240 for descending traffic wbound descending to FL250 wanting FL240 for chop. Attention was drawn to the northwest part of sector for additional vectors needed to separate 2 aircraft at FL350. I looked back at air carrier X to see if air carrier X was clear of previous traffic to climb. Air carrier X was now in conflict with another air carrier Y at FL240 wbound. Air carrier X was issued a 360 degree heading. Air carrier Y was issued at 180 heading.
